Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Adrien Rabiot to Chelsea in their deal to sign N’Golo Kante, according to reports in France.
Kante has established himself as one of the world’s best defensive midfielders and is playing a key role in France’s World Cup campaign this summer.
According to L’Equipe, PSG have made the 27-year-old their priority target for the summer transfer window but are aware that agreeing a deal with Chelsea will be difficult.
Kante still has three years remaining on his contract with Chelsea and the club are reportedly demanding a €100 million (£88m) transfer fee.
But L’Equipe report that PSG are willing to allow Rabiot to join Stamford Bridge as part of their move for Kante.
Chelsea have been monitoring Rabiot’s progress since Under-17 level and have a strong link with the midfielder’s mother and agent Veronique.
Earlier this summer, reports claimed that PSG value Rabiot at €50m (£44m).
But the 23-year-old only has a year remaining on his contract with the French champions.
